San Diego, California – January 09, 2023 – Eyes On Eyecare® today announced that registration is officially open for Eyes On Dry Eye 2023. The two-day virtual educational summit is scheduled for February 24th and 25th, 2023.
As the largest dry eye-only event in the ophthalmic industry, Eyes On Dry Eye 2023 will provide eyecare professionals (ECPs) with the latest research and education, live sessions and interactive Q&As with renowned specialists. Attendees can earn up to 7 hours of free COPE-accredited CE on topics directly related to patient care, including how to get started with a dry eye practice, learning about the most promising treatments in the pipeline, and many more. As with all Eyes On events, participants can also explore cutting-edge innovations in the exhibit hall, win up to $3,000 in prizes and engage in industry-wide networking.
Dry eye disease (DED) affects nearly 49 million Americans. After refractive error, dry eye is one of the most common ocular conditions optometrists and ophthalmologists encounter in their practices. Today’s eyecare professionals are seeking new and innovative treatments for this disease state as evidenced by last year’s record-breaking Eyes On Dry Eye event, which drew over 4,300 attendees who viewed more than 18,000 hours of education from over 50 dry eye faculty members.
"Eyes On Dry Eye is the best opportunity for attendees to meet with our expert faculty to learn more about DED, discover new treatment modalities, engage with industry at their booths, and explore innovative solutions that can bring meaningful value and relief to dry eye patients,” said Michael S. Cooper, OD, Director of Medical Education at Eyes On Eyecare. “If you are looking to take patient care to the next level for those suffering from dry eye, then you will find everything you need to be successful at Eyes On Dry Eye this February.”
Eyes On Dry Eye will be co-chaired by dry eye experts, Damon Dierker, OD, FAAO, and Ahmad Fahmy, OD, FAAO, Dipl ABO. In more than 10 expert-led sessions, ECPs can focus on topics that directly impact patient care including: The State of Dry Eye in 2023, This is Why Your Dry Eye Patient Is Still Symptomatic, The Most Promising Treatments in the OSD Pipeline, Calming Neurotrophic Keratitis With Advanced Treatments, How to Start a Successful Dry Eye Line of Service in Your Practice, and more. Additionally, the Exhibit Hall and Show Specials will highlight novel point-of-care platforms, pharmaceuticals, and procedures that will keep today’s eyecare professionals on top of the latest solutions that enhance their patients’ comfort and vision health.
Produced by Eyes On Eyecare, a digital publication that focuses on providing clinical and career education to the next generation of optometrists and ophthalmologists, Eyes On Dry Eye is the publication’s third-annual virtual experience focused on dry eye disease.
Designed to help optometrists and ophthalmologists manage chronic dry eye disease as well as acute symptoms associated with dry eye flares caused by glaucoma, systemic disease, surgery, and other conditions, this three-day show features best-in-class clinical programming led by specialists, including: Preeya K.
