Here's How You Can Protect a Child's Vision By Taking a Photo

Our friends at Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc. have given us an opportunity to promote and facilitate healthy vision in children by simply taking a photo.

Share a photo through the free Donate a Photo app and help give a child healthy vision. Choose Optometry Cares as your charity and for every photo you share through the app, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc. will donate $1 to InfantSEE!

Here is what you need to do:

1) You can download the app from the App Store or Google Play.

It is that simple!

How Donate a Photo works:

1) Your photo raises money.

Johnson & Johnson has curated a list of trusted causes, and for every photo you share through Donate a Photo, Johnson & Johnson gives $1 to the cause you want to help. That $1 does things like fix up a public park, get medicine for an infant, or help kids play sports safely. Each cause will receive a minimum donation and will appear in the app until its donation period ends or its goal is reached.

2) Your photo raises awareness.

When you share your photo, you spread the word about causes that need help, and you and your friends can help those causes meet their goals.

3) Your photos add up.

You can donate one photo every day. Those days turn into weeks, months, and years. And you can see all the causes your photos have helped, and how

4) Your photo can inspire others.

Share a picture that means something to you, chances are it’ll mean something to your friends, too. And the more photos you inspire, the more awareness you’ll raise.

Frequently Asked Questions

1) How will my photos be used?

All photos shared through Donate a Photo will become part of the Donate a Photo gallery. Those photos may be used to promote Donate a Photo, but they will never be used to sell any products or for any other commercial purposes.

2) Is there a limit on how many photos I can share?

You can share one photo per day to support a cause. Every cause in Donate a Photo sets a goal. When a cause's goal is met, another cause takes its place. Johnson & Johnson hopes to use Donate a Photo to help nonprofits for as long as possible.

3) Why did Johnson & Johnson create this?

For over 125 years, Johnson & Johnson has been dedicated to helping people and causes all over the world. Through Donate a Photo, Johnson & Johnson hopes to raise more awareness for the causes that need help and connect people to nonprofits, helping everyone make an even bigger difference.

4) Sometimes the number of photos in the Donate a Photo galleries is less than the number of photos donated to causes. Why?

Some photos might not appear in the photo galleries either because the person who donated them wanted to keep them private, or because the photos are under moderation.
