Dr. Samantha Rao is a 2016 graduate of SUNY College of Optometry and completed a residency with an emphasis in Cornea and Contact Lenses at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Boston University. Dr. Rao practices in New York City in both an OD/MD group practice and an optometry private practice. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association. Her chief clinical interests lie in specialty corneal and scleral contact lenses, corneal disease and ocular surface disease. In her spare time Dr. Rao enjoys traveling, seeing Broadway shows, and exploring New York City.
