Ranjan P. Malhotra, MD, attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City accelerated 6-year Bachelor's/Medical Degree Program, where he graduated with honors in 1995. He completed his internship at St. John's Mercy in St. Louis, followed by a move to Dallas, Texas, to complete his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center.
