Dr. Bowden is a refractive surgeon, ocular surface expert and is frequently called upon by his colleagues in the medical community. He was chosen for one of the most competitive fellowships in the world—the cornea and external disease fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital and was selected to be the official ophthalmologist for the Jacksonville Jaguars from the time of their inauguration. He is the founder of Bowden Eye & Associates in Jacksonville, Florida, where he currently practices.
