Cassondra Lux-O’Callaghan, OD, FAAO

Cassondra J. Lux-O’Callaghan, OD, FAAO, joined Kearney Eye Institute’s Grand Island Branch in 2021. Prior to joining the team, she worked in Phoenix, AZ in a private practice that specialized in complicated contact lens fittings and dry eye disease.

She received her Bachelors of Science at Doane College in Crete, Nebraska. In 2018, she received her Doctorate through Midwestern University College of Optometry in Glendale, AZ and went on to complete a Residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at the Veteran’s hospital in Muskogee Oklahoma, the Veteran’s clinic in Tulsa, Oklahoma and the NUSO College of Optometry and Indian Health Clinic in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. During that time, she also went on mission trips to Oaxaca, Mexico and El Salvador to bring eye care and glasses to underserved populations.
