Panelists Announced for Eyes On 2021 Virtual Event Keynote in Partnership with Vision Monday
San Diego, California – October 16, 2020 – CovalentEvents has announced the Keynote Conversation, “Starting Fresh: Making 2021 the Year for Optometry,” for the Eyes On 2021 virtual continuing education conference. Scheduled for November 22, 2020 at 10:30 am PST / 1:30 pm EST, “Starting Fresh” will close out the three-day conference with a discussion of strategies optometrists of all experience levels can use to grow their careers and practices in 2021.
Led by Marge Axelrad, Senior VP and Editorial Director at Vision Monday and VMail, the discussion will feature four of the brightest leaders in optometry: Millicent Knight, OD, FAAO, FAARM, Senior VP of Essilor's Customer Development Group; Selina McGee, OD, FAAO, Dipl ABO, founder of Precision Vision in Edmonton, OK; Aaron Lech, OD, FAAO, optometry advocate, practice owner, and founder of iCAREforINDIA; and Kambiz Silani, OD, Chief Clinical Director of Beverly Hills Optometry.
2020 was set to be an incredible year for vision care and optometry but was knocked off track by the COVID-19 pandemic. While the pandemic forced some practices to shut their doors, most reopened, and all had to quickly adapt to an utterly transformed business and clinical environment.
The keynote conversation will explore how everyone from new optometrists to experienced practice owners can ensure that 2021 is an exceptionally strong year for practice revenue and growth. The participants will examine real-world tactics and strategies ECPs can use to thrive in 2021 and ensure the strength of their practices in the future. With a live Q&A, audience members will be able to ask questions and join the conversation, which will provide key insights for practice owners as well as associate ODs.
Beyond the keynote, this free, three-day virtual event, scheduled for November 20-22, 2020, will feature 11 hours of COPE-approved CE programming; live, interactive educational sessions and panels in three clinical and career tracks; $3,500 in prizes; and over a dozen sponsors and vendors showcasing their latest innovations and offerings. As with CovalentEvents’ Virtual Career Fair in April 2020, Eyes On 2021 will also include a Career Center featuring companies hiring ODs across the U.S.
"Next year, more than ever, it's critical for optometric professionals in every type of practice setting to be strategic in setting their priorities and building on the learnings from this past, quite unbelievable year,” says Marge Axelrad. “I'm excited to share ideas about the key trends and tactics that have emerged for ECPs in 2020 from this great panel and help illuminate ideas and pragmatic choices to help the Eyes on 2021 attendees feel encouraged about what's possible to enhance their practice growth next year."
Eyes On 2021 is open to all optometrists and practice owners and is completely free! Register here to join us November 20-22, 2020.
