Mason, OH, November 15, 2021 – Luxottica Eye Care invites optometry students to apply for its 2022 student clinic in partnership with OneSight. On clinic, OD students will work under the supervision of Luxottica Retail affiliated doctors performing comprehensive eye exams. Students will also help support a core team of Luxottica volunteers in the frame fitting, manufacturing and dispensing of new eyewear. For the OD students selected, Luxottica Retail will cover expenses associated with the clinic, including air fare, accommodations and meals.
Optometry students interested in participating in a 2021 OneSight vision clinic can apply online for consideration. Applications will be accepted through December 31. Selected students will be notified by late January.
When applying students should select which clinic they are applying for. Students may choose both.
- MAY (dates TBD) 2022: Students will travel to Chicago to volunteer alongside WBA star Diamond DeShields at a clinic sponsored by Oakley, in partnership with OneSight.
- JUNE 11-15, 2022: Students will travel to the La Posta Reservation (CA) to help members of the La Posta Band of Diegueño Mission Indians. The reservation is located 56 miles east of San Diego.
