As an optometrist, you are likely to hear chief complaints of light sensitivity, eye fatigue, and difficulty driving at night on a regular basis. For our contact lens wearers, we had little in the way of contact lenses to address their difficulties. The new ACUVUE® OASYS with Transitions™ was designed specifically to address those patients bothered by light both indoors and outdoors.

You would be surprised at how many patients are truly bothered by light or experience photosensitivity. ACUVUE® OASYS with Transitions™ adjusts to challenging light environments, such as when playing sports, working under uncomfortable office lighting, or adjusting our eyes to digital screens or TVs. Transitions lenses truly make a difference for these individuals!

ACUVUE® OASYS (senofilcon A) material with Transitions™ Light Intelligent Technology™ were designed to offer the highest level of UV protection in contact lenses, blocking 100% UVB and >99% UVA.† However, they are not a replacement for sunglasses.

***Helps protect against transmission of harmful UV radiation to the cornea and into the eye. WARNING: UV-absorbing contact lenses are NOT substitutes for protective UV-absorbing eyewear such as UV-absorbing goggles or sunglasses because they do not completely cover the eye and surrounding area. You should continue to use UV-absorbing eyewear as directed. NOTE: Long-term exposure to UV radiation is one of the risk factors associated with cataracts. Exposure is based on a number of factors such as environmental conditions (altitude, geography and cloud cover) and personal factors (extent and nature of outdoor activities). UV-blocking contact lenses help provide protection against harmful UV radiation. However, clinical studies have not been done to demonstrate that wearing UV-blocking contact lenses reduces the risk of developing cataracts or other eye disorders. Consult your eye care practitioner for more information. Please refer to your regional Medical Affairs group for country-specific disclosure requirements.
