Dr. William Werner Jr, O.D. has been part of the National Vision team for nine years. He joined as a practicing OD right out of optometry school, first within the Eyeglass World brand in Kentucky followed by the America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses brand in Indiana. After five years of practicing and holding leadership roles as an Area Doctor and Clinical Advisory Panel member, Dr. Werner transitioned into a corporate role where he has been recruiting Optometrists for the last four years – with the last two years in the role as Director of Student Relations. Dr. Werner has a passion for educating and mentoring optometry students as they navigate their career path decisions. Dr. Werner graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 2011.
