Dr. Heidi Miller is a principal optometrist at the University of California, Davis Eye Center in Sacramento. She received her doctor of optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry where she went on to complete a residency in cornea and contact lenses. Dr. Miller specializes in anterior segment disease and fitting a wide variety of specialty contact lenses. She lectures and publishes on topics related to dry eye, anterior segment disease, and specialty contact lenses. She has contributed multiple articles for the “GP Experts” column for Review of Cornea and Contact Lenses and Contact Lens Spectrum.
Dr. Miller is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a Fellow of the Scleral Lens Education Society and serves on the Board of the Gas Permeable Lens Institute. She is President of the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society, an active member of the California Optometric Association, and was recently awarded "Young Optometrist of the Year” for California. Dr. Miller loves giving back to her community by providing eye care services to those in need in Sacramento through California Care Force and in Mexico through Liga International. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, hiking, water sports, and exploring local breweries or wineries with friends.
