FEDVIP (Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Plan) covers Federal employees, U.S. Postal Service workers and retired uniformed service members and their families.
Vision insurance is covered by one of four national plans: Aetna Vision Preferred, VSP, FEP BlueVision and UnitedHealthcare Vision.
Step 1: Complete the introductory requirements
In order to become a FEDVIP provider, you must:

- Find a place to practice
- Get liability insurance
- Obtain your NPI number

- Register with CAQH
