Transitioning from student to new graduate is challenging. Becoming a professional is like getting thrown from a place of safety (school) to an ocean full of uncertainty and doubt.
As much as graduation is a time of happiness and excitement, it can also be a time of fear and anxiety.
What does your career path look like? Where are you going to start? How are you going to treat those first few patients without someone looking over your shoulder making sure you're doing things correctly?
There are some people who can answer these question for themselves and have an extremely clear vision of what their career path will be, but the majority of us (including myself) may look for just a bit more guidance - a helping hand to get us started.
