Optometrist - Full-time / Part-time - OD/MD Practice- 1099 Position - Harlem, NY

What You’ll Need:
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree
- Valid NY state license to practice optometry
- Availability to work
- An adaptable and thorough work ethic
- An affable personality and the ability to develop rapport with all patients and staff
- At least one year of experience

Environment: Our practice is geared toward ensuring the success of our optometrists so that they can provide the best service to our patients. Our techs will do all the tests and work up so that the doctor can focus on providing care. Our OD will also have the support of the store manager and front desk. We believe strongly in working closely as a team and lifting up one another!
Schedule: We know it’s important to have ample time with each patient to properly diagnose and examine them. To that end, in an 7-8 hour day, our doctors typically see between 15 and 20 patients. Hours and days are flexible as well--generally, we’re looking for a doctor to start at 10:30 and to work some Saturdays, but it’s not mandatory!
Compensation: This is a 1099 position. We compensate our team well for the phenomenal work that they do. We’re offering $85 an hour plus commission to 10-15 an hour, production bonus, how many patients they see, how many tests, etc
