About Our Practice

We are a family owned company founded in 1953 that specialized in making safety glasses for General Motors and other local plants in beautiful Genesee County.  As time went by an Optometrist and Dispensary was added to the practice, and now we have grown to three locations -- our original location in Downtown Flint, a location in Burton, and a location in Fenton. Plus, we still have a full service lab to accommodate our patients!

Exposure and Environment: As the demographics for each location vary, our ODs have the opportunity to see patients with all sorts of eye conditions and practice full scope. A significant amount of our patient population is geriatric, and our doctors often offer diabetic exams and dry eye treatment.. Our ODs have ample time to provide their best care to every patients thanks to our incredible tech who handles all pretesting for the OD.

What You'll Need

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
  • Valid state license to practice optometry
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
  • Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
