Optometrist - Full-Time - Primary Care Private Practice - Fort Campbell, KY
*New grads and experienced doctors are encouraged to apply!
Rademaker Eye Care is a private practice that has been providing exceptional patient care to the Fort Campbell community for 15 years. Our patient population is focused on the family members, especially young children, of active duty soldiers along with some retired military. As an optometrist owned practice, our team of three technicians and optometrists focuses solely on patient care and treatment without any pressure of sales, which has allowed us to build great long lasting relationships in our community. We are located in the Fort Campbell Post Exchange, 20 minutes from Clarksville, TN and Hopkinsville, KY.
Why You’ll Love This Opportunity:
Do what you love - You’ll be able to make a real difference and serve deserving military families here, while also having the time and autonomy to practice in a way that allows you to offer your best care. We don't treat people like cattle and we take the time to solve our patients’ problems. All patients get dilated unless they sign a consent form in refusal, and we practice like we were taught in school rather than cutting corners. This position does not involve any sales, just performing exams for active duty military families and some military retirees.
Friendly, experienced staff: You’ll have the full support of our office ensuring that you’re able to focus on doing your job as efficiently as possible. Our staff was trained by an optometrist and are helpful, fun, and extremely organized and well-managed. Additionally, we use paper records rather than hard to deal with EMRS and all of our equipment is up to date and well maintained--our slit lamps are less than one year old! We have Topcon equipment, Haag-Streit applanation tonometers, automatic chart projectors & a full field Humphrey visual field.
