Optometrist - Full/Part-Time - Privately Owned Practice - Waterbury, CT

2022 graduates and experienced doctors welcome to apply!

About the Practice

Located in the heart of Fairfield County in Southwest Connecticut, a stone's throw from New York City, we are a fast-paced growing optometric practice located in Trumbull and Waterbury, CT that caters to the needs of its surrounding communities.

We're looking to bring on a motivated and driven individual for full or part-time position that ideally has flexibile availability. The office is open 7-days a week and our doctors work the occasional weekend.

Why You'll Love this Opportunity

Schedule: Located within a corporate Lenscrafters setting, doctor's see 1 to 3 patients/hour working primarily with private practice-like patient's.

Exposure: With the office's location in Fairfield County, CT being so close to New York City, we cater to a wide patient clientele! A doctor who is comfortable working with diverse patient populations is important, and a proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese, or Arabic is helpful, but not required, due to a heavy Latin American, Brazilian, and Middle-Eastern patient base.

Environment: Our new doctor will have a fantastic support staff that they'll be working alongside, including 2-3 staff members, full tech and pre-testing support, and our head doctor! Each office has 2 exam lanes and is outfitted with:

  • Zeiss Clarifye digital exam technology
  • Daytona Optomap Digital Retinal Imaging System
  • Runs on the Revolution EHR system
  • Optos California
  • Prior experience with specific EHR not required as learning the programs and processes is simple and easy!

How You'll Be Compensated

  • Premium for a doctor interested in full-time position and willing to sign 1 or 1+ yr agreements
  • Full benefits (Medical, dental/vision, CE, licenses, malpractice, etc.)
  • Paid time off
  • Moving expense help negotiable! The ability to obtain Connecticut licensure is very easy, only taking a couple weeks; much quicker than other states in the country!
  • Other benefits that can be negotiated

If you're looking for a great opportunity in a beautiful area with a practice interested in investing in you, apply today!
