Our well-established ophthalmology practice has been serving the community for over 20 years. We have a part-time position (up to 30 hrs.) for an optician for our optical dispensary in Branchburg, NJ.

What You'll Do:
This position starts at up to 30 hours per week, with the opportunity for expanding hours if the optician is a good fit for our practice! As an optician in our practice, your regular duties will include:
- Educate patients about eyewear and help customers choose eyeglass frames and lenses
- Enter patient information, eyeglass prescription, frames and lens sales into the optical software
- Obtain patient insurance information and file insurance claims
- Proficient in sales including multiple pairs
- Place lab orders and dispense eyeglasses
What You’ll Need:
- NJ licensed optician is a plus
- Proficient in sales, customer service, and dispensing skills
- Optical software experience a plus, computer skills a must
- Knowledgeable on insurances; VSP & EyeMed
- Expert multitasking with patients
- Team player mentality with a dependable work ethic
