We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable individual with a positive attitude and experience to join our professional team. ABO licensure preferred, but will consider the right candidate with less experience. A minimum of two years of optical experience and retail sales experience required.
Candidates must be able to work most Saturdays.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service, fashion sense, and detail oriented
- Must have a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor
- Be polite and respectful towards patients, doctors, and other team members
Responsibilities include:
- Eyewear styling and selection
- Discussing lens technology
- VSP insurance billing
- Adjusting and dispensing glasses
- Verifying and explaining insurance coverage to patients
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Handling patient questions via phone calls, emails and walk ins
